After a long hiatus this year (our last event was in May), we have a full calendar of stuff coming up! In October, we have two Events BOTH on the 28th! In November, Aaron will be GMing his Sci-Fi LARP, Far Reach. This will be held on the 18th. December is time for our annual Winter Fest! Mark the 16th on your calendars! We hope to see all of you at the events. We have missed everyone. I know that I am really looking forward to whacking on/shooting at/chucking spells upon each of you! Categories: Technology What sounds to be an interesting new development in immersive games La Fuga (The Escape), a real-life role-playing game... a $20 million cross between Halo and laser tag. From the authors description of the game, it seems to be a real-world maze where you are guided by video screens and must use puzzle solving skills to advance to new levels. Currently the only place open is in Madrid, but Négone, the company responsible La Fuga, plans to open up a 30,000 square foot facility in Manhattan. This could be the next big step in LARPing.

Marshaven has vanished from the world of Tyrra! The contingent of rangers that was sent to investigate the front of storms that surrounded the Marshaven territory have reported that the entire peninsula completely vanished just before the midnight hour on January 29, 605 ER. Coincidentally, an earthquake on the southeastern coast of Avalon sent tremors that could be felt well into the center of the continent. Further news forthcoming.
